The Biltmore experience

Look no further, we've found the most majestic hotel in Florida. Turning onto the lush avenue of Coral Gables, the Biltmore stands between huge and elegant palm trees. And its imposing Mediterranean facade leaves only little of its splendor to the imagination.

Claudine, the chief concierge, welcomes guests with a charming Belgian accent and decades of experience at the hotel, where a sense of timelessness floats in the pathways. Now that you're here, what are you going to do: enjoy the view from the terrace? Flop into the largest hotel swimming pool on the American east coast? Cool down in your room and eat the chocolate sculpture that's waiting for you? No, it's decided, you don’t have to choose.

An architectural masterpiece, since 1926, the Biltmore has seen presidents (mostly American), celebrities, and all the local elite. The view of the superb golf course from the rooms is breathtaking, especially after a necessary stint in the spa, which has even transcended that of Cleopatra.

The Palme d'Or is awarded again to the restaurant of the same name (come on, we gave you that one), deemed one of the best in the country, where fine cuisine and a cozy atmosphere is at your table. For your sweet tooth, Sunday brunch at noon at the Fontana, cool down in the hotel's courtyard featuring the best of the sea and earth, sweet and salty, and always with champagne flowing freely.

Needless to say, after it may be difficult to get back to the recliner, but once spotted, plop down with satisfaction (and grace) for relaxation (and a little nap?), just as you deserve.
