Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez, a glittering gem

Sun-soaked canvas of 20th-century painters, the venue for the wildest parties and harbour for breathtaking contemporary yachts - nothing rivals the winds of freedom that blow through the stone pines of the Gulf of Saint Tropez. Shellfish and crustaceans bedeck its idyllic coves as well as its sophisticated restaurant tables while a myriad of enchanting villages each add a new meaning to the word “beauty”. And the same halo of sunshine enshrouds the tan façades of Cogolin, the blond stretches of beach in Ramatuelle and the Belle Epoque gardens of Rayol-Canadel. A hotpot of opulence and leisure, jet set celebrities and local craftsmanship, the region has preserved all the charms of this legendary gem.

The real estate market

Prices have increased by 20-30% in five years on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the location and type of property. On the upper end of the scale are apartments in the centre of Ramatuelle and Saint Tropez, and prestigious villas on the private estate of Les Parcs, Cap Tahiti, La Capilla and La Réserve.

Our advice

Demand is constant and supply is limited. In a bull market, investors need to make quick decisions and be ready to make concessions. At the right price, properties are guaranteed to sell in 3 months.

Away from the partying, there are some fantastic properties close to the villages where owners can recharge their batteries in peace and quiet.

The best neighbourhoods:

Near the villages and beaches: Les Salins, Les Canoubiers, Tahiti, Belle Isnarde, La Quessine, L’Escalet. Private estates: Les Parcs, CapTahiti, La Capilla, La Réserve. And around the Synagogue. Properties on the roadside can be noisy.- GOYONS Nelly Directrice BARNES Saint-Tropez
