New York apartments by Aston Martin

Following its earlier venture in Miami, Aston Martin brings its vision of high-end real estate to Manhattan with 5 residential properties at 130 William bringing the worlds of architecture and motoring ever closer. In addition to their apartment, each buyer will also receive an Aston DBX specially designed for the occasion. Doesn’t get much fancier than that, does it?

This is one partnership that certainly isn’t lacking in panache!  British architect Sir David Adjaye has designed a residential building at 130 William Street in lower Manhattan, offering unparalleled luxury and housing 242 apartments boasting large arched windows that are already considered classic. Not to mention — and this is where SoBARNES can really take you to 7th heaven — the fact that the 59th and 60th floors of the 66-storey building will be reserved for the inner sanctum, the five apartments designed in partnership with Aston Martin, fully furnished and decorated with fittings, textiles and accessories from the Aston Martin Home collection. As soon as they step out of the lift, the (lucky) residents of these magical properties will get to enjoy décor featuring Aston Martin's signature motifs in a bronze finish, complete with arched (in a nod to the arches of the façade) mirror created by Aston Martin Design that reflects the view of the horizon.

Every square foot of these apartments will echo the car manufacturer's brand image and values, so it will come as no surprise that the reception areas will be furnished with sofas and armchairs incorporating elements of leather, metal and fabric that are immediately reminiscent of the inside of an Aston Martin. And because it’s a pretty safe bet that the buyers will also be car enthusiasts, they can even transform one of the rooms into a racing simulator! "We are bringing our unique automotive design skills to these beautiful homes", declares Aston Martin’s Creative Director, Marek Reichman. "These apartments represent a very unique fusion of our design tendencies", Sir David confirms, "and with the accompanying limited edition SUVs, we have created a truly unique signature that blends our two fields of expertise".

The apartments will therefore be delivered complete with an Aston Martin in the form of the DBX 130 William Adjaye Special Edition. Whilst the décor in the apartments may be reminiscent of the motoring world, the design of the cars is quite the contrary, with grey marble inlays matching the satin-effect walnut wood and leather incorporating ‘parliament green’ inserts matching the walls of the racing simulator. The paintwork on these unique Astons has also, of course, been custom-designed, and inspired by the façades of 130 William. Truly exquisite.

One of these apartments will set you back anything from $3,985,000 to $10,000,000 for the 3 ‘loggia residences’ and from $10,500,000 to $11,500,000 for the two penthouses. So what will occupants get for their money? (Hold on to your seats...) In addition to the apartment itself, residents will get to enjoy 20,000 sq ft of communal areas dedicated to the art of living and well-being, including an infinity pool, a sauna, a number of massage rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and spa, a yoga studio and basketball court, a private IMAX theatre, a golf simulator, a chef's kitchen, a children's recreation centre, a pet spa, outdoor terraces and a private observation deck located on the roof of the building.

A whole new take on luxury real estate that puts Manhattan right back where it likes to be — leading the world.
