It was like this in the time of Louis XVI in Versailles, and it's exactly what Ducasse invites you to relive in Ore, his new restaurant housed in the Chateau (of Versailles), the room that was allowed to be privatized for evenings of royal feasts. Everything reminds guests of the Sun King: the golden tableware, the porcelain of Marie Antoinette reissued, the sparkling cutlery, a composed menu, just as before. All this is tasted and savored in the greatest intimacy (by reservation only, we’re talking about privatizing part of the castle!). Located on the 1st floor of wing Dufour, in the pavilion of the Chateau entrance, Ore has a view of the Royal court, illuminated at dusk. Magical.

Ore, "mouth" in Latin, so reminiscent of the pleasures of the mouth, so dear to the French kings. Described as a "contemporary cafe", the restaurant is open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and offers breakfast, notably "The Great Sunrise of the King ". At lunch, you have an appointment with the classics of French cuisine, small plates, small bites and some delicate pastries for the sweet tooth. The menu obviously follows the changing seasons and focuses on Ducasse's flagship ingredient: vegetables.

As the Chef said, "Versailles is a place that fascinates and interests"; and now, it makes one hungry.
