Which makes 765 reasons to find out more with SoBARNES.<\/h4>\n<p>At a time when the entire world is turning its back on the traditional auto industry, McLaren is one of the last Mohicans still defending against all odds what seemed to be an endangered species - the pure sports car. Following on from the 765LT unveiled last year, all 765 units of which sold out, the manufacturer is launching the new Spider with a retractable hard top. The ingredients are the same, but with a lighter weight, demonic power and optimised aerodynamics. And the <em>pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance<\/em> of this supercar is its electronically-operated one-piece carbon fibre hard top that lowers or raises in just 11\u00a0seconds.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"765LT Spider: For the Fearless\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/e6d4FlHHp5M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Built from the same DNA as its elder (by one year), the coup\u00e9, the 765LT Spider weighs just 1,388kg - 49kg heavier than the previous model. In other words, not a lot! Especially when you take into account its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine reaching 765hp and enabling 0-100km\/h (62mph) in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 330km\/h (205mph).<\/p>\n<p>Hair-raising to say the least...
