If these walls could talk, they could recount the first conference of the League of Nations in 1922, the atmosphere on the set of <em>To Catch a Thief<\/em> (1955) starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant and directed by Alfred Hitchcock, and what happened the first time the Hollywood star and Prince Rainier met at the promotion of the film. And why Elton John chose the Carlton as the backdrop for the explosive music video to his hit <em>I\u2019m Still Standing<\/em>, in 1982\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Legends sometimes need a facelift in order to remain eternal.
