Conjuring up the figures of the Fool, the Hanged Man, the High Priestess, the Devil and Death is certainly a bold move. But Dior pulled it off, through the passion of its creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, who wanted to reconnect with Christian Dior\u2019s affiliation with clairvoyants. There was no show for the Spring-Summer 2021 Haute Couture collection. In its place is this 15-minute short film, soberly entitled \u201cLe Ch\u00e2teau du Tarot<\/em>\u201d, directed by Matteo Garrone, the Italian filmmaker behind Gomorrah<\/em> and\u00a0Pinocchio<\/em>, among others.
