What possesses all of these virtues? The Corsican immortelle, also known as Italian strawflower or Helichrysum italicum. Belonging to the Asteraceae family, it is said that its flower never wilts, hence its name. Virtually free from allergenic properties, it is used in the form of essential oil and distillate or as an active ingredient in the production of balms.<\/p>\n<p>A jealously guarded secret, but one you will perhaps be lucky enough to learn if you stay at this villa just a stone\u2019s throw from the beaches of Cala Rossa. Its deliberately graphic style, combining straight lines, Corsican stone and wood, blends marvellously into this legendary landscape, set between sea and mountains.
