Holborn remains one of the most beautiful historic neighbourhoods in London, just a few minutes from the City, the West End, Covent Garden, the British Museum, the Royal Opera House. This is where the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts group inaugurated Rosewood Hotel in October 2013, the area’s first, five-star luxury institution.
This elegant, intimate establishment from the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts collection showcases the concept of having a sense of place, reflecting the location’s history, culture and sensitivity. Rosewood London has taken up residence in a Belle Époque building dating back to 1914, which has been entirely renovated in respect of the original construction.
Guests in London will have a choice of 262 rooms and 44 suites, including the highly exclusive Grand Manor House Wing, which boasts a private entrance and is the only hotel residence in the world to have its own postcode. Rosewood London has become a unique, special place to enjoy for lunching or dining, in a setting as contemporary as it is traditional. The interior courtyard of Rosewood London welcomes the Slow Food & Living Market every Sunday from 10am until 3.30pm. Recently-named executive chef Amandine Chaignot heads the proceedings.
As a specialist in eco-gastronomy, she assembles around 30 producers to offer products of the most exceptional quality.
