Silence, we're rolling

Action, no you have not come across the set of the last Scorcese thriller, you’re in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and North 3rd Road.

La Esquina is iconic for its structure, a classic American diner, bright letters and aluminum included, its Mexican cuisine, and its trendy atmosphere. A must for New Yorkers.

In front, the Taqueria & Garden (Tacos stand), serves the best tacos in the city. Finger snacks, a sandwich or a burger served at the window after a chase or installed at the bar for a relaxing break next to Ray Liotta as a police officer (him or his lookalike, we’ll never know).

Just like in the prohibition era, in the hip Williamsburg neighborhood, the best places are hidden, so follow us and go through the kitchen, down the stairs of La Esquina and find yourself underground, in the felted ambiance of a bar-restaurant, with brick walls, tables and chairs of Saloon. Don’t even think about it without a reservation because this is a crazy world and an atmosphere of madness at The Diner or at the Back Room. The chef is the king of Mexican cuisine, the real one if you like it, and the reputation of the Margaritas has far exceeded that of the Brooklyn Bridge.

There is a lively and exhilarating atmosphere, the artists exhibits are in the room, bands and DJs perform (check the events not to miss one), New Yorkers are there for the exceptional atmosphere but also to savor this excellent South American cuisine.

La Esquina, it’s not of cinema; we return again and again.
