Art is taking to the streets of Miami

With the cancellation of Art Basel Miami due to the pandemic, art has found a new outlet on the streets. And when contemporary art is on the agenda, BARNES is never far away!

There’s no lockdown for art. Or in any case, there shouldn't be. Widespread cancellations of art fairs around the world in 2020? That wasn't going to stop Cube Art Fair, which created the Art Beyond Borders concept to display some one hundred works of art produced for the occasion on the streets of Brussels in October. A campaign that helped reinvent the streets as open-air art galleries and reached over 5 million people. Let us be the first to say it (no false modesty between friends): the works that received the most attention included those by Miami-based artist Charles Molina, represented by Heidi Barnes, founder of BARNES.

And because, as the saying goes, when you're onto a good thing, stick with it, Cube Art Fair is now taking to the streets of Miami until 6 December 2020 with Art4All, a new, adapted version of Art Basel Miami.

On the line-up, some one hundred works by both established and emerging artists on over 50 billboards located throughout the city, at the heart of the new Miami World Center and along the highways of the Design District, Wynwood, Brickell, and downtown Miami. Heidi Barnes and the BARNES brand are once again supporting Charles Molina, painter Carolina Baron Biza and sculptor Tatiana Blanco.

An open-air exhibit, the ideal and safe alternative compatible with health restrictions that enables artists to continue to share their works with the public. A 100% #staysafe and #staycreative initiative that also happens to be 100% SoBARNES.
