History was made in the world of high-end real estate on December 1st and 2nd in Paris with the debut of the BARNES LUXURY PROPERTY SHOW 2018.
While Paris and many other cities in France were shaken by protests, this exhibition was bubbly champagne served in a crystal flute for its guests. The magnificent Pavillon Ledoyen was the setting of the event, and due to its proximity to the Elysée Palace, an area of high-level surveillance, participants enjoyed the comfort, discretion, and of course, security expected for such an exceptional event.
Teams from 60 French and international destinations were there to present their best opportunities to a high-end clientele in the process of relocating. From Paris to Bordeaux, Deauville to Cannes and Saint-Tropez, from l'Île de Ré to Biarritz or Arcachon, from Evian to Megève … All of the French agencies were present; from Lisbon to Madrid and Budapest, Miami to Saint-Barts, from Gstaad to Porto Cervo, the most beautiful cities and destinations around the world can testify to the strength of the BARNES international network.
The Show was also an opportunity for BARNES to present its newest specialty departments around the art de vivre: buying fine wines, acquiring vineyards, art consultancy, renting/collecting yachts. Guests were able to taste exceptional cuvées, offered by BARNES Fines Wines, and attend a live “artistic performance” by street-artist Cyril Kongo, hosted by BARNES Art Advisory, a department that guides clients through the sale and acquisition of artworks, in addition to managing their art collections.
BARNES embodies a certain idea of the French art de vivre, and so a number of major luxury brands were happy to join us in giving our guests a unique and privileged experience.
In fact, about fifteen of our partners attended the 1st edition of the BARNES Show: International and French promoters for which BARNES commercializes exceptional developments, such as Costa Navarino in Greece, Aston Martin Residences in Miami, Pointe d’Esny Le Village in Mauritius, and Promo 6 in Méribel; financial partners such as the private banks Société Générale, Taux Privés, and Jade Fiducial; high-end furniture publications, Luxury Living, which offered pieces from its collection of prestigious brands (FENDI Casa, Trussardi Cassa, Baccarat La Maison, etc.) to decorate the exhibition space; and luxury brands like Roederer, Bentley, Panerai, Château Angelus, and Maison Boutary that promote the same French art de vivre cherished by BARNES.
Even more, a cycle of 8 conferences tackled several themes, such as real estate in the mountains, North America, Europe, on the waterfront and even in Mauritius, but also the best ways to structure real estate investments and how to create an exceptional wine cellar.
With this success, BARNES plans to transform this trial and organize a new edition of the exhibition in 2020. “We want to create a regular gathering in order to allow our clients to discover all BARNES properties and our services that are constantly expanding, as well as to continue to respond to the global approach acclaimed by our French and international clientele,” concluded Thibault de Saint Vincent.
