One tram can hide another

A "culinary journey" becomes apparent with the Tram Experience. Literally, as well as figuratively, we’re talking about a gourmet escape. All aboard!

Rendez-vous at Place Poelaert, on a 2-car light-gray tram, that travels across the city, up the Avenue Louise and then Avenue Chasse, around the Montgomery roundabout, continuing until Boistfort and finishing up by taking the roundabout of l’Etoile, ending where it all began.

Once aboard, take a seat at your table - mostly tables for 2, but some welcome up to 4 people - enthroned in a minimalist decor where hushed conversations are murmured. The menus change regularly, almost every 2 weeks, created by prestigious Belgian chefs, like Lionel Rigolet or Michelin-starred Bart de Pooter. A choice, 2 different menus, for the week and the weekend, where the filet de marcassin (wild pig) with its Kriek reduction is king, the royal smoked trout  over beechwood his queen, and cappuccino pumpkin their pride. We almost forget the dessert, but once poached mandarin arrives, accompanied by the delicate aromas of cinnamon. It’s sure, the Tram Experience gives dining on-the-go a whole new meaning.
